Team Snapshot: Meet Kayla

Kayla Mattucci, Customer Support Manager

What led me to Idelic:
My personal ‘why’ and motivator each day is to build meaningful relationships with those around me, always lend a helping hand to others, and promote the health and safety of those around me and myself. My personal values strongly tie into Idelic’s mission and core values which is what led me here and what keeps me going. I have the ability each day to build impactful relationships with our internal teams and customer base and make a difference internally through my work by supporting our fleets and empowering them to use their data effectively to get drivers home safely.

What is my current role?
I’m the Customer Support Manager at Idelic. In my current role, I ensure that our customers are fully supported and empowered to utilize Safety Suite through effective and empathetic support. This means that I monitor and track that questions and issues are handled in a timely manner, I collaborate with other teams identify and resolve issues when they do come up, I ensure the team develops both personally and professionally, and that we are set up for future success through new strategies to improve the customer experience through support.

Why I’m passionate about safety:
My passion for safety comes from my empathy and care for the well-being of others. I have a deep sense of wanting others to feel safe physically and mentally and be free from risk of any type. Whether it is a family member, friend, or stranger, I want the best for everyone around me. To me, that starts with Safety

Three words I’d use to describe my job at Idelic:
Collaborative, Impactful, Opportunistic

One thing most people don’t know about me:
Prior to Idelic, I was focused on non-profit related work. I worked at the food bank in my county where I signed individuals up for SNAP benefits and completed two service terms with Americorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC). During my time with AmeriCorps NCCC, I led a team during the disaster response mission in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria hit completing concrete roof repairs and mold remediation for 6 weeks.

A few of my hobbies:
Skiing, hiking, camping, and traveling—I love anything that involves the outdoors!
