Deployment Project Manager
What led me to Idelic:
I’m excited that it’s “sort of” a start-up! I know it’s technically still considered a startup, but it seems as if it is rapidly starting to move away from that persona, which is really exciting to be a part of! I am also very excited about the fact that there’s a lot of opportunity to grow in the industry, and being able to shape the reputation of Idelic at such an early stage. I think it’s great! I’ve always been a part of well-established companies—GENCO, which is now FedEx—is just one example. To come in and see something built from the beginning is indescribable and makes your job incredibly fulfilling.
Why I’m passionate about safety:
I feel like people make an organization work. When it comes down to it, jobs require people. If you don’t have a workforce, then you don’t have a company. You can’t automate everything. People still want that human touch, and safety has to be top of mind to make it work. And with safety, you have to be more people focused, as without them you can’t function as a successful machine. Lack of safety can wipe out some of your workforce, it’s like a building that has no feet; it crumbles.
Three words I’d use to describe my job at Idelic:
Fast-paced, Multi-dimensional, Innovative.
One thing most people don’t know about me:
That’s hard because I’m so open. Many people do not know that I am extremely competitive, and that I have played in a competitive kickball league, it’s a yearly kickball tournament that goes all year long. We play for 6-7 months out of the year and we play a few nights throughout the week at different fields.
A few of my hobbies:
I love to kayak and bike, and I love to be outdoors. We go to montour park a lot. I spin bike in the winter as well! Sports are also another huge hobby of mine because I was a college athlete!
